Business · Team and permissions
Everyone can do their job. Nobody can do more.
Invite the people who run the business, give each a role, and, when payments open, decide which payments need a second person. Every change to the team is recorded with who made it and when.
Team members and roles open with the business account.
Roles
Four roles, the same as in the app.
Each person on the team has one; this is what each may do.
- Owner
- Everything, including the team, its owners and the business’s details. A business always keeps at least one owner.
- Admin
- Manages the team and the business’s details, except its owners.
- Member
- Works in the business’s account. Cannot manage the team.
- Viewer
- Sees the business’s account and team. Changes nothing.
Controls
Approvals and limits, set once.
Coming with payments and cards for teams.
Approvals
Payments over an amount you choose will wait for one or two approvers before they leave, and the person who asked can never approve their own.
Limits per person and per card
A monthly amount for each person, a limit for each card, and the categories where it works.
Asked again for what matters
Inviting someone, changing a role or removing a person asks for a passkey or an authenticator app again, unless the person confirmed it was them in the last five minutes. Adding a recipient and raising a limit will ask the same.
A record of every change
Who invited whom, who changed a role, who removed whom: each recorded with the date and time. Approvals will join the record when they open.
Questions
How do roles and permissions work?
Each person on a business account has one of four roles: owner, admin, member, and viewer.
Owner: Everything, including the team, its owners and the business’s details. A business always keeps at least one owner.
Admin: Manages the team and the business’s details, except its owners.
Member: Works in the business’s account. Cannot manage the team.
Viewer: Sees the business’s account and team. Changes nothing.
Approvals before a payment leaves, and a limit for each person and each card, are coming with payments and cards.
Can my accountant have access?
Yes. Invite them as a viewer: a viewer sees the business’s account and team, and changes nothing.
