If you choose a light or a dark theme, the choice is kept on your device in your browser’s storage (fx-theme) so the next page opens in it. It never leaves your device. Choose “Device” to remove it.

Both are first-party, sent only over a secure connection, unreadable by scripts and never sent to another site. Strictly necessary cookies need no consent under EU and UK law; you can still remove them in your browser, and you will then be signed out.
The app also keeps two preferences in your browser’s storage, on your device only and never sent to us: fx-theme, the theme the app opens in before you sign in, and fx-sidebar, whether you collapsed its side menu. Both are strictly necessary for the look you chose; clearing your browser’s storage removes them.
