Countries
Where Fidorox works.
Fidorox is built for customers in nearly every country. We open country by country, and this page lists the countries we cannot serve.
Where we cannot open
Countries closed by sanctions.
We cannot open an account for anyone who lives in these countries. Each is under comprehensive international sanctions, or EU rules that bar their residents from crypto-asset services.
| Country | Why |
|---|---|
| Belarus | EU Regulation 765/2006 (Belarus) |
| Cuba | US Cuban Assets Control Regulations (31 CFR 515) |
| Iran | US Iranian Transactions and Sanctions Regulations (31 CFR 560), EU Regulation 267/2012, UN Security Council 2231 |
| North Korea | UN Security Council 1718 and successors, EU Regulation 2017/1509, US North Korea Sanctions Regulations (31 CFR 510) |
| Russia | EU Regulation 833/2014 Art. 5b |
| Syria | EU Regulation 36/2012 residual measures and US Caesar Act listings |
What counts
It is where you live, not where you were born.
An account depends on your country of residence: where you live and pay tax. Your nationality does not decide it, and you can travel with your card anywhere it is accepted. When you move, tell us; if your new country is one we cannot serve, we explain what happens to your account and give you time to move your money.
Some products, crypto above all, open in fewer countries than the account, because the rules differ. Each product page says what is open today.
